Gdiplus.dll is part of the Microsoft Windows operating system and is used by Windows to display graphics on your screen.

Cause of the Error
Typically, the above error is generated when the gdiplus.dll file is not located in C:\Windows\System32 folder or if it is corrupt.

- Rename the gdiplus.dll file.
- Download a new copy of gdiplus.dll file and save it in the C:\Windows\System32 folder.
To rename the gdiplus.dll file present in your system folder, perform the following steps:
- Click Start and then click Run.
- Type the cmd command in the Open box and press Enter.
- At command prompt type cd c:\windows\system32 and press Enter.
- Next, type ren gdiplus.dll gdiplus.old.dll and press Enter.
- Type exit and press Enter to close command prompt.
After you have renamed the gdiplus.dll file, download a new copy of gdiplus.dll from a reliable and free on-line DLL directory. As gdiplus.dll is a redistributable file from Microsoft, it is better you download the latest version of gdiplus.dll from the Microsoft website. Save the file in your System folder (By default, it is c:\Windows\System32) and restart your computer.
