Microsoft’s Internet Explorer is one of the most popular Web browsers among PC users, primarily because it comes built-in with Windows operating systems. By default, the Web browser comprises only required features that a user needs to browse the Web. The Internet Explorer Add-on toolbars enable you to include additional functionalities to the Web browser that help in enhancing browsing experience. Method 1: From the Yahoo Toolbar in Internet Explorer
- Open the Internet Explorer window.
- On the Yahoo toolbar in the Internet Explorer window, click the Pencil button (Toolbar Settings) and then select Uninstall.
- On the uninstall page, select Uninstall.
- Close and then restart Internet Explorer to implement the change and then ensure that the toolbar has been removed.
Method 2: From Add or Remove Programs Window
- Open Start menu, and then select Control Panel.
- Click the Add or Remove Programs link.
- Scroll down the Currently installed programs list, and then select the entry for Yahoo toolbar.
- Click the Change/Remove button.
- Close and then restart Internet Explorer to implement the change and then ensure that the toolbar has been removed.
After uninstalling, it is recommended that you run a registry scan to ensure that all data related to the toolbar is removed from the system. This will help you ensure a complete removal and thus prevent accumulation of unwanted data on the system that over time leads to slow computer problems.
