Remove Yahoo Toolbar From Internet Explorer

Microsoft’s Internet Explorer is one of the most popular Web browsers among PC users, primarily because it comes built-in with Windows operating systems. By default, the Web browser comprises only required features that a user needs to browse the Web. The Internet Explorer Add-on toolbars enable you to include additional functionalities to the Web browser that help in enhancing browsing experience. The Yahoo toolbar is one such toolbar that can be plugged in Internet Explorer to incorporate further enhancements. Some of the popular features of Yahoo toolbar are:

  • Easy to customize.
  • Sends email alerts.
  • Enables you to create globally accessible bookmarks.
  • Provides one click search features.
  • Enables to you to include Tab browsing on older Internet Explorer versions.

Although Add-on Internet Explorer toolbars are useful, having too many at the same time may cause several problems. They may not only clutter the Internet Explorer window, but may also slow down your Web access speed. Moreover, at times, you may unknowingly install them on the system and may want to remove them later. For example, the Yahoo toolbar may get installed during Yahoo Messenger installation if you fail to clear a checkbox asking for your consent to install the toolbar.
