  2. Right-click on Command Prompt, click Run As Administrator. Type the administrator password, if prompted.
  3. Next, type the following command and press Enter.

    cd %windows%\syswow64

  1. Type the following command to register the jscrip.dll file and press Enter.

    regsvr32 jscript.dll

  1. When a dialog box appears confirming the registration, click OK.
  2. Type exit and then press Enter to close Command Prompt.

Note: %windows% is a variable that refers to the drive on which Windows is installed on your Vista. By default, Windows is installed on the C: drive.
